About this role
The EY Career Residency is a roughly 12-month route into audit for accounting students. It starts in January 2028 with about two months of full-time, mostly in-person client work near the assigned office. After that comes a part-time phase from March 2028, around 40 hours a month and mostly virtual, which participants can do from anywhere in the US. The work involves reviewing financial statements for unusual patterns, building client relationships, and rotating through Assurance and Tax. A full-time Analyst offer may follow. Candidates need a predicted accounting degree, a 3.0 GPA minimum, a plan for CPA licensure, and US work authorization without sponsorship. Pay is listed at $37.50 to $48.08 an hour. It is offered across about 26 US offices, including Phoenix, Boston, Seattle and San Juan. Full details are on EY's careers site.
