We need your help! Pizza GmbH, a successful player in the food industry known for its pre-baked premium pizzas, is facing a major challenge: its flawed annual financial statements urgently need a complete overhaul. Together with our PwC team, you will review the balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and notes to the financial statements. Take this opportunity to gain exciting insights into the world of auditing and make valuable contacts!
Agenda:
- Thursday, April 9, 2026: Virtual kick-off from 4 to 5 pm , with an overview of the basics of the examination system and clarification of all questions regarding the Case Study Day.
- Monday, April 13, 2026: Case Study Day at the PwC office in Essen:
- 9:30 - 10:00 a.m.: Welcome and start to the day
- 10:00 AM – 1:30 PM: Working through the case study on the audit of the balance sheet, profit and loss statement and notes to the financial statements
- 1:30 PM – 2:15 PM: Lunch break with light refreshments
- 2:15 PM – 2:45 PM: Office tour and introduction to the PwC team
- 2:45 PM – 4:00 PM: Closing discussion and wrap-up
- 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM: Get-together with pizza, cold drinks and a foosball tournament

This event will be held in German and is aimed at motivated students (Bachelor's or Master's) with an interest in auditing, accounting, or related topics.
